The Techny Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis x Techny) is a pyramidal upright compact, conical selection of Arborvitae with dense branching and dark-green foliage that does not bronze, even during cold winters. This is our most cold hardy Thuja. Techny is a clone of its parent plant the White Cedar or American Arborvitae, growing in excess of 1-2' per year. Shedding will begin in September making way for new growth. 

Uses: Border, Drives. Garden Beds, Single Specimen, Wind Break, Noise Barrier, Privacy Screen, Hedging.

Plant in full sun to partial shade, in well drained soils. Cold tolerant and grows in most soil conditions.
